Sara is a licensed attorney in Connecticut. Prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, she worked for a private litigation firm in Connecticut counseling clients in matters of professional malpractice, personal injury, and employment. Sara has also served as in-house counsel to one of the nation’s largest health insurance providers, where her work primarily focused on privacy and data security. She conducted research and analysis of state and federal laws and regulations, and provided general legal guidance and support to the business concerning privacy related matters.
In her role as Assistant General Counsel with Sellers Dorsey, she provides legal counsel and operational guidance to the business in the areas of privacy and HIPAA, including statutory and regulatory analyses, compliance, and best practices to carry out the mission and business of Sellers Dorsey. Additionally, she supports the firm by responding to general legal inquiries and needs, contracting drafting and negotiating, and RFPs.
