Ria comes to Sellers Dorsey from the Center for Advancing Health Services, Policy & Economics Research at Washington University in St Louis, where she served as a Research Assistant studying Uzazi Village, an afro-centered Doula organization, to better understand the services and benefits they provide to their patients and community. Ria has a keen focus on health policy, with the goal of aiding in the improvement of health outcomes for underserved populations within the US. Earlier in her career she completed in-depth research and analysis of Medicaid access and coverage for underserved populations.
As a Research Associate, Ria supports the timely and effective delivery of client services by researching and analyzing healthcare policy, state and federal laws and regulations, and current issues and health reform priorities. She conducts topical research on current issues in the public health space to help Sellers Dorsey deliver impactful outcomes for our clients.
