Before joining Sellers Dorsey, Lauren served as Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer for Maximus, a leading health care and human services consulting firm headquartered in McLean, VA. She was responsible for managing and growing the company’s global compliance program, as well as assisting in the oversight and management of the in-house legal team. Before that role, Lauren was an attorney at BWW Law Group in Bethesda, MD and the Maryland Legal Aid Bureau. She is currently licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. Lauren received her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law, and is a Specialized Honours graduate from York University in Ontario, Canada.
Current Responsibility
As General Counsel, Lauren is a key member of Sellers Dorsey’s Executive Leadership Team. She oversees all legal and corporate compliance matters and provides senior management with effective advice on legal and logical implications of company strategies and their implementation.
