Prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, Elisabeth worked at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Public Health Training Center (MAR-PHTC) as a member of the project management team for a number of public health initiatives. She worked at MAR-PHTC during the COVID-19 public health emergency, where she helped recommend and implement COVID-19 protocols. Additionally, she conducted substantial research on food insecurity while maintaining oversight of grant funding. Elisabeth also worked at UPMC Health Plan, where she developed and maintained policies and procedures to ensure Medicare/STARS compliance. Elisabeth earned her Master’s degree in health policy and management at University of Pittsburgh.
Elisabeth is a member of Sellers Dorsey’s Research and Policy Team and supports the timely and effective delivery of client services as well as marketing, sales, and business development activities. Elisabeth also focuses on the timely and effective production of deliverables researching and analyzing healthcare policy, state and federal laws and regulations, current hot-button issues, and health reform priorities. She researches health policies and helps to develop both internal and external analyses, white papers, state budget profiles, CMS guidance, the Sellers Dorsey Digest, and other reports. She also participates as a member of Sellers Dorsey’s internal research workgroups focusing on health policies and state and federal updates as well as the firm’s Culture Crew.
