Brittany is an accomplished government affairs and health care policy expert with a strong background in advocacy and Medicaid. Before joining Sellers Dorsey, Brittany served as Senior Government Affairs Manager for The National Service Office for Nurse-Family Partnership and Child First. There, she developed and executed public policy agendas in states around the country to sustain and expand public dollars invested in the organization’s healthcare home visiting program models. She successfully secured significant funding for these programs from a variety of funding sources including Medicaid. Brittany also has experience leading federal and state Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the American Nutrition Association, working in state policy for The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and in Medicaid policy research at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. With a proven track record of securing funding, influencing policy changes, and building strategic partnerships, Brittany is a seasoned leader in public health policy.
As Government Relations Manager, Brittany proactively assists with the management of states and state lobbyists, providing strategic direction for political analysis and policy. She plays a key role in helping grow the Firm’s government affairs to support successful collaboration with policymakers and coalition partners. Brittany’s experience alongside the Government Affairs team is instrumental in helping fulfill Sellers Dorsey’s mission to enhance healthcare quality and access for vulnerable populations.
