Prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, Amanda worked as a Research Assistant at Ellevate Louisiana and the Survivor’s Cancer Action Network. She conducted research on best practices among states related to healthcare policy, produced policy briefs on health and cancer policy, and assisted in drafting policy positions for the legislative session. Additionally, she served as a project manager with Taking Aim at Cancer in Louisiana, where she coordinated healthcare providers and administrators, insurers, and other stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and drive innovative, measurable solutions. Her work also included the creation of a strategic plan for the state healthcare payor council consisting of all six Louisiana managed care organizations and various commercial insurers.
