Previously, Sofia was a Program Associate at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS), where she provided technical support to project teams focusing on addressing adverse childhood experiences in New Jersey. Before working at CHCS, Sofia was a Health Care Organizer at New Jersey Citizen Action where she worked with uninsured populations to get them enrolled for health coverage. Sofia has also held research and policy related roles at Rutgers University and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
