Sellers Dorsey is excited to welcome Emma Esmont as a new Director within our Ohio state-based practice where she will work to support and expand the Firm’s consulting work and further our efforts to improve healthcare quality and access in Ohio.

Emma is an experienced healthcare professional with more than a decade of experience as a manager and analyst with the Ohio Department of Medicaid. While there she oversaw the development and implementation of Alternative Payment Models, value-based purchasing programs for payers and providers, and Quality Improvement Initiatives. She served as the agency subject matter expert on all program areas of the Medicaid Provider Incentive Program, the Merit Based Incentive Program, and the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act.

In addition to the Ohio Department of Medicaid, Emma has extensive experience as a consultant for Briljent, where she led client engagements related to public health and Medicaid programs, customized national programs to meet local needs, and made connections for clients with other national and local partners to foster knowledge sharing.

She will bring this expertise to Sellers Dorsey’s Ohio state-based practice, providing strategic guidance, leadership, and her passion for the mission of improving healthcare quality and access.
