The new Medicaid managed care rules help build stronger managed care programs to better meet the needs of Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries by improving access to, and quality of, care. This session focuses on what Medicaid Health Plans and Medicaid Directors from both a national and individual state perspective find most challenging around the rule’s access and quality provisions. The panel will explore innovative ways that states and plans can use these new requirements to create improved access and quality outcomes for Medicaid members and providers.
