As we approach the home stretch of Pride Month 2021, Sellers Dorsey wishes to recognize the valuable contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals across America. As we grow and reflect on our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we increasingly understand the importance of openly and publicly sharing our beliefs, our vulnerabilities, and our strengths. Thus, we humbly yet enthusiastically reaffirm our solidarity with LGBTQ+ Americans in their ongoing struggle against discrimination and injustice, including LGBTQ+ people of color, and we celebrate hard-earned freedoms for those who are able to simply be who they are!

As a business founded and led by members of the LGBT community, we have proudly stood for LGBTQ+ representation and inclusion. In 2016 Sellers Dorsey was honored to receive an award from the IBA, Philadelphia’s LGBT Chamber of Commerce, in honor of our high standards of behavior towards LGBT community and employees. In 2018 our firm was certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Our work to strengthen Medicaid programs helps diverse and often underserved populations to access health care and other needed services including LGBTQ+ individuals and their families. While we recognize that obtaining equal access to health care is only one of many goals this community – and many others – has fought for and continues to pursue, we embrace the contributions of those who share our mission to achieve healthcare access for the LGBTQ+ community and for all people.

Together we celebrate the progress we have made, and the joy of being oneself, while staying committed to the work to bring that freedom to everyone. Sellers Dorsey is honored to wish you strength, peace, and a Happy Pride Month!
