Before joining Sellers Dorsey, Tanya worked as a Sales Operations Manager with GE Healthcare for nearly seven years, as a Financial Analyst with Procter & Gamble, and as a Principal with Hilltop Slate, Inc., providing operations guidance in sales, finance, marketing, strategic planning, and human resources. Earlier in her career, Tanya also served as National Deputy Organizing Director – Health Systems Division with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). Working in this role for more than 12 years, she developed keen leadership skills throughout many projects and initiatives, including organizing and recruitment campaigns as well as hospital growth campaigns across the country.

Career Current Responsibility

As Regional Vice President for the Southeast, Tanya leads client success and growth in Florida, Georgia, and New York. She works with state agencies, payers, and providers to enhance Medicaid financing strategies. Tanya has established successful client coalitions in Arizona, Georgia, and Florida, including helping Grady Health System expand primary care and build a freestanding emergency department in South Fulton County.

Meet Our Team: Q&A with Tanya Boone, Regional Vice President
Tanya Boone assists and advises Sellers Dorsey clients by enhancing their Medicaid financing to improve health access and outcomes for the individuals and populations they serve. She works closely with hospital executives and state Medicaid directors to guarantee our program design, from start through implementation, meeting and exceeding expectations for our clients and their communities. Tanya also supervises and mentors many Sellers Dorsey staff members, empowering their success and supporting the ongoing growth of the organization. She brings a wealth of expertise from previous leadership roles at GE Healthcare, Procter & Gamble, and as a Principal with Hilltop Slate, Inc. Prior to these roles, Tanya served as National Deputy Organizing Director—Health Systems Division with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). Working in this role for more than 12 years, she used her keen leadership skills to drive intense and successful campaigns across the country.
