Consultant
Quanita brings extensive experience in public health program management and behavioral health policy to her role at Sellers Dorsey. Prior to joining the firm, she served as the Program Manager for the Comprehensive Maternal Care Program at the Ohio Department of Medicaid, where she led efforts to improve maternal and infant health outcomes. In this role, she guided obstetrical practitioners in implementing comprehensive care strategies, evaluated technical assistance needs, and ensured program adherence to quality standards—all with a focus on personalized, patient-centered care. Before that, Quanita was the Project Director for Youth Treatment Implementation at the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. She oversaw a statewide initiative to expand access to substance use and mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults. Additionally, she developed Ohio’s Peer Support Expansion Rule, creating an inclusive certification pathway for youth and family peer support specialists. Her work reflects a deep commitment to improving health equity, strengthening community-based care, and building systems that prioritize individual well-being over administrative complexity.
