
Maria Gentile
Associate Director, Consulting, Northeast Region
Maria brings deep experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and health policy to her role at Sellers Dorsey. Before joining the firm, she served as a Senior Analyst at Briljent, where she worked closely with state health and human service agencies, non-profit organizations, health information exchanges, and managed care organizations. In this role, Maria led stakeholder engagement initiatives, conducted business process analysis, managed project timelines and documentation, and played a key role in proposal development and strategic planning. She also developed a communications methodology for stakeholder engagement that supported statewide health interoperability efforts. Prior to her time at Briljent, Maria served as Chief of Marketing and Outreach at the Ohio Department of Medicaid. There, she played a pivotal role in the implementation of Medicaid expansion in Ohio and contributed to the department’s elevation to a cabinet-level agency—an achievement that reflected the growing importance of Medicaid in state governance.
Current Responsibility
At Sellers Dorsey, Maria supports clients in Ohio and the Northeast Region by helping design and implement impactful, sustainable programs aimed at expanding healthcare access and improving quality. Her work contributes to the firm’s mission by advancing client goals and driving meaningful health system transformation across the region.
