Prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, Cathia served as a Senior Business Systems Analyst for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. In this role, she worked cross-functionally to execute various projects. Specifically, she played a key role in the successful implementation of new Medicare-based health care company, Braven Health. Cathia boosted workflow efficiency through identifying improvements that streamlined care management, utilization management, and grievance filing processes for a newly created Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP). She also worked at CORMAC Corporation as a Project Manager, where she oversaw IT projects for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and partnered with stakeholders to improve the quality and accuracy of health information. With over 15 years of data analytic experience in reviewing Medicaid and Medicare data, Cathia worked with various state Medicaid directors and Medicaid program staff to review and understand their state data. She earned her master’s degree from The George Washington University and is a certified Project Management Professional.
