Prior to her role with Sellers Dorsey, Karla served as Director of Value Based Care with the University of Toledo Physicians, a 300+ multi-specialty teaching practice affiliated with two urban academic medical centers and the University of Toledo College of Medicine. In that role she oversaw the development of the division of Ambulatory Care Management, and the practice’s initiation into a wide variety of value-based care programs including an MSSP ACO, Comprehensive Primary Care Plus and Oncology Care Model. In this role, Karla led the Ohio CICIP Quality Subgroup where she worked closely with the Ohio Sellers Dorsey team. Prior to working with University of Toledo Physicians, Karla worked as a Senior Implementation Consultant with McKesson where she delivered design and training services to hospital clients across the country. Additionally, Karla’s experience in healthcare data analytics includes her work with the Florida Healthcare Cost Containment Board, the precursor to the Agency for Healthcare Administration, where she was responsible for developing statewide hospital and nursing home databases.
