Lauren bring a strong background in health care and research. In her role she supports the team with client initiatives, through engagements, management, and implementation of projects.
Before joining Sellers Dorsey, Lauren served as a Public Affairs Associate Manager at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Standards Association. In this role, Lauren was responsible for managing the unit’s annual budget, writing white papers and press releases, and acting as the local liaison in support of positive relations with national and international public affairs representatives. Previously, she served as a Program Associate on the Medicare-Medicaid/Long Term Services and Supports Team at the Center for Health Care Strategies, Inc. (CHCS). As a Program Associate, Lauren provided technical assistance for multiple initiatives such as Integrated Care Resource Center (ICRC) and Helping States Support Families Caring for an Aging America. Lauren served as a project leader for all communications with internal and external vendors. She also managed communications between multiple stakeholders from state agencies, federal government, health plans, and non-profit organizations. Prior to these roles, Lauren was a Project Coordinator at the Health Research and Educational Trust of New Jersey and a Research Consultant at John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development.
