Heather is based in the Austin office, supporting projects by providing research and evaluation, writing and editing, and helping with client deliverables.
Heather previously worked for the Texas Association for Home Care & Hospice (TAHC&H), where she was responsible for project management, research & analysis, policy guidance, member education, and monitoring of state/federal government programs and initiatives for home and community supports services providers. Prior to her work at TAHC&H, Heather was a Program Specialist with the Texas Health & Human Service Commission, where she oversaw the Integrated Care Management (ICM) program which provided acute care and long-term services and supports to 74,000 Texans in 11 counties. Heather also worked as an independent consultant, developing and evaluating RFP responses, conducting mock evaluations and scoring for bid proposals, and providing project management, strategic planning, research and evaluation, readiness reviews, writing and editing services for her clients.
