Jimmy Hatcher is an esteemed health care veteran with nearly 40 years of hospital finance leadership experience. Using his expertise rooted in nearly 40 years of hospital finance leadership experience and working for a world-class academic medical center, Jimmy provides strategic guidance on Sellers Dorsey client initiatives that focus on revenue enhancement.
Experience
Jimmy is an accomplished health care executive with decades of experience in health care operations, financial and strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Jimmy, a certified public accountant, hails from Emory Healthcare, one of the largest providers of Medicaid in Georgia, where he most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for 17 years. In this role, he oversaw the health system’s financial operations and employees. Jimmy also served as Chief Financial Officer for Emory Hospitals from 1995 to 2004, which at that time consisted of three Emory hospitals. Earlier in his career, Jimmy served as Regional Controller for SunHealth and Gateway Medical Systems, and he also served as Assistant Controller for Charter Medical Corporation.
