Rachel joins the firm with a strong background in Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare policy. Bringing particular experience with long-term services and supports, she uses her skills in policy and public relations to serve Sellers Dorsey’s clients, and her healthcare expertise covers services for aging and disabled populations, with a focus on home and community-based services.
Prior to her current role with Sellers Dorsey, Rachel served as Senior Director of Communications and Corporate Relations with the National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities (NASUAD). During her time with NASUAD, she cultivated relationships with corporate and grant funders, managed online communications, and oversaw any online development related to the annual Home and Community-Based Services Conference. Rachel also worked with the Eldercare Workforce Alliance as a Project Coordinator before her role with NASUAD. In addition, she served as a Policy Associate with Medicare Rights Center, a nonprofit organization aimed at ensuring access to affordable healthcare for elderly adults.
