Meghan Davey joined Sellers Dorsey after several years successfully leading the New Jersey Department of Human Services’ Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services (DMAHS). She is a recent addition to our growing team of former state Medicaid officials working as part of the firm’s growing national consulting practice to assist public and private clients across the country with challenges and opportunities on all sides of Medicaid.
Meghan Davey became a Senior Consultant with Sellers Dorsey after a 20 year tenure with the State of New Jersey, where she held various leadership positions including Policy Director and Chief of Operations for the DMAHS, before ultimately becoming Director of the Division operating New Jersey’s $15 billion Medicaid program. Meghan led the state’s Medicaid efforts in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and the expansion of coverage to over 500,000 New Jersey childless adults and parents. She also led the development, coordination and implementation of the New Jersey 1115 Medicaid Comprehensive Waiver and its successful renewal and played a leadership role in New Jersey’s health reform efforts to expand managed care to those in need of long-term care and expanded Home and Community Based options to certain populations. Based in New Jersey, Meghan collaborates with other former Medicaid directors and other experienced state Medicaid staff across the country as part of the firm’s fast growing national consulting practice.
