Current Responsibility

Nomair is a member of the firm’s policy and research team, focusing on updates to health policies. He assists the team with sourcing information and drafting content for our weekly Medicaid and policy newsletter, Sellers Dorsey Digest.

Experience

Prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, Nomair was a Senior Research Assistant at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy in the Value-Based Payment and Biomedical Innovation and Regulatory Policy departments. He was engaged in multi-stakeholder interviews to develop post-market incentive strategies for the FDA and Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority. Additionally, Nomair interviewed state Medicaid organizations and managed care organizations to conduct a landscape analysis of value-based purchasing arrangements. Previously, Nomair worked at the Wake Forest School of Medicine as a Health Policy Analyst, where he researched the health effects of electronic cigarettes and vaping in adolescents and drafted legislative history reports on community drug prevention laws pertaining to e-cigs in North Carolina.
