With a career dedicated to helping health plans navigate complexity and drive meaningful transformation, Ross strengthens the Firm’s ability to support clients operating in today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Ross joins Sellers Dorsey from Cognizant, where he most recently served as Senior Partner and Assistant Vice President. As a trusted advisor to Cognizant’s senior executives, he developed innovative service offerings and drove sustainable growth across a diverse portfolio of health plan clients. During his tenure, he advised Medicaid managed health plans across multiple states on regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and program execution aligned with CMS and state Medicaid agency requirements. He also led multi-state compliance and operational assessments for an integrated delivery system and a provider-sponsored health plan offering Medicaid managed care, supporting regulatory oversight while enabling market expansion. Additionally, he guided Medicaid managed care and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) through claims payment and revenue cycle assessments, strengthening provider relationships, reducing operational risk, and improving compliance.
Prior to Cognizant, Ross served as Client Services Director at Top Tier Consulting, where he assessed operational, regulatory, and technology capabilities for health plans navigating Medicaid and Medicare programs. His work included advising a Blue Cross Blue Shield plan on developing Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) capabilities and entering its state Medicaid ecosystem. He also advised Medicare Advantage and Medicaid managed health plans on claims platforms and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) vendor readiness to meet federal and state compliance requirements.
