A specialty plan wanted assistance with market intelligence and relationship support to improve relationships with current managed care organization partners, expand its business footprint to include additional managed care organizations, and develop innovations to better serve its Medicaid members and managed care organization partners.
Sellers Dorsey secured meetings on behalf of the specialty plan with managed care organizations, and attended these meetings, to help the company build its relationships and potential business opportunities in target states and nationally. Sellers Dorsey also provided strategic business development advice to identify new business opportunities and research and updates on Medicaid policies of interest to the plan.
The work has led to new and improved working relationships with Medicaid managed care plans, including adding potential new and expanded contracts onto the company’s business development pipeline. The work has also led to the development of a new model to improve the delivery of specialty services to nursing facility residents.
