Mark brings a proven track record and a breadth of experience in health policy, health care consulting, public health and executive management to the firm.  Mark focuses on assisting financially challenged states, local governments and health systems to identify expanded revenue opportunities.  In addition, he provides clients with advice and direction in policy and health care market opportunities based on his experience with payers, pharmaceutical companies and disease advocacy organizations. In addition to working on projects of national scope, Mark works with clients and established a firm presence in California and the West Coast.

Prior to his work at Sellers Dorsey, Mark was CEO of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.  Mark led the Foundation's transformation to being a thought leader on evidenced based strategies to control and end the HIV epidemic.  In addition, he was President of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation's affiliate, the Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation where he oversaw the development of the strategic plan and the execution of the business strategy.  Previous to running health organization, he did health care consulting concentrating in the areas of bioethics, health care allocation strategies and redesign of primary care.

Mark received a Bachelor's Degree from Lewis and Clark College and has Masters Degrees in Public Policy and Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
