Mark's area of expertise is state Medicaid financing and healthcare purchasing strategy. With creativity and a keen understanding of the challenges that today's policymakers face, Mark works with private sector organizations and state policymakers to improve products and programs that serve the healthcare needs of low-income Americans.
Before joining Sellers Dorsey, Mark worked as Special Assistant to the Massachusetts Medicaid Director. Primarily handling hospital reimbursement issues, Mark worked with senior state officials on the Commonwealth's revolutionary healthcare reform proposal. During that time, he played a critical role in the negotiation and approval of the financial terms of the Commonwealth's $1.34 billion MassHealth 1115 waiver.
