Pat Brady

Principal

Pat has spent her career in healthcare, and in particular, focusing on the design and implementation of long term care (LTC) services.  Pat provides public and private sector clients with strategic, policy and technical assistance on various initiatives and serves as the Director of Long Term Care for Sellers Dorsey.  As former Deputy Secretary for the Office of Long Term Living in the Department of Public Welfare for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Pat established herself as a top authority on providing cutting-edge LTC services.

Under her strategic guidance, the Commonwealth initiated a number of data-driven, LTC initiatives including a benchmark study on supply and demand to help PA prepare for the aging baby boomer generation.  This first-of-its-kind study and project model has proven to be an invaluable long-term planning tool for the Commonwealth's home and community-based nursing facilities.

Whether developing an infrastructure for home and community-based services; providing budgetary oversight and effectively managing state resources, or seeking federal financial participation and negotiating changes to nursing facility reimbursements, Pat remains committed to one ideal: helping states and providers invent, evaluate, and create solutions that provide consumers with the choice between receiving care at home or in a nursing facility without compromising access to quality healthcare.
