Nancy is a former Senior Government Relations Executive with extensive experience in negotiating and communicating with state and federal government officials. Nancy consults with states and organizations in the development, implementation and review of government healthcare opportunities including Medicaid managed care, innovative Medicaid initiatives, 1115 and 1915 waivers (including family planning services) and has experience in seeking and gaining approval of these types of waivers from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Formerly Deputy Secretary for the Office of Children Youth and Families, Nancy planned, directed and coordinated statewide child welfare and juvenile justice programs for a state administered, county operated system of care.
As Senior Vice President of Government Affairs with Keystone Mercy Health Plan and Amerihealth Mercy Health Plan, Nancy negotiated and administered the contracts with the PA Department of Public Welfare to insure that Keystone Mercy Health Plan and AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan, Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, received adequate rates to provide Medicaid services to their 380,000 members. Nancy was also responsible for the plans' compliance with their government contracts.
