Founded in 1945, the National Association of State Budget Officers has served as the professional organization for state budget officers of the fifty states and U.S. territories for more than sixty years.

Meeting sessions will be held all day on Monday and Tuesday. The State Dinner will be held on Tuesday evening and the final meeting sessions will conclude Wednesday with regional networking breakfasts Thursday morning. The Gloria Timmer, George A. Bell, and Regional Awards will be presented during a special dinner on Monday.

2008 National Medical Association Annual Convention & Scientific Assembly in Atlanta, GA July 26 - 31, 2008

For the past 112 years, the National Medical Association (NMA) has conducted its Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly, the nation's foremost conference devoted to medical science and African American health. This year, the NMA returns to its birthplace, Atlanta, Georgia for the 2008 Annual Convention that will convene from July 26-31, 2008.

The NMA is collaborating with the American Cancer Society, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory University among others to assure the conference remains cutting edge to enhance our resource capability to meet the demands of today's ever changing health care environment.
