Sellers Dorsey Supports Small Business Saturday

November 29, 2013

Small Business Saturday was created by American Express in 2010 to give small businesses a boost in sales between two traditionally heavy shopping days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Sellers Dorsey supports small businesses and the diversity they bring to our economy.

As a tradition we started last year, Sellers Dorsey asked its staff around the country to recommend some of their favorite small and growing businesses. There are millions of enterprising Americans who run businesses that serve us in multiple ways. Here are some of our picks for Small Business Saturday, November 30:

American Spoon – Traverse City, MI (artisanal fruit preserves and condiments)

C.G. Buser & Son – Lemoyne, PA (hometown jewelry and jewelry repair)

Jeremys – San Francisco, CA (sample designer clothing at discounted prices)

Kermit’s Bake Shoppe – Philadelphia, PA (a funky pizzeria/bakery hybrid)

Raja Yoga – Philadelphia, PA (calm among the chaos)

Succulence – San Francisco, CA (creative and unusual succulent plant art for every occasion)

Usinger’s Famous Sausage – Milwaukee, WI (supplied the hot dogs for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City)

Water Garden Gems – Marion, TX (everything to create a peaceful aquatic environment)
